The thermometer also helps to avoid any risk of cross contamination with a colour coded white design - making it safe for use with baked and dairy goods.

Easy to clean and holding a temperature response time of just 15 seconds, the thermometer guarantees a fast and cost-effective approach to food safety in the kitchen.

Declaration of Conformity included in user manual, supplied with product and available online.Calibrating the thermometer: A thermometer must always be calibrated before first-time use to ensure it is accurate and safe to use in the kitchen.

To calibrate this thermometer, fill a glass with ice and water and leave for two to three minutes, stirring occasionally.

Insert the probe of the thermometer into the water and wait for 15-30 seconds.

Check that the thermometer reads 0C or 32F. If it does, the thermometer is accurate and ready to use. If not, it requires calibration. With the probe still in the icy water, press and hold the red RESET button using a pointed instrument and adjust the reading to 0C or 32F. The thermometer is now ready for use. For best performance, calibrate the thermometer weekly. .
